Dunedin isn’t a city that needs sunshine to make an impression. In fact, on days like this, when the clouds settle in and the harbour disappears into the mist, it looks rather commanding. Having walked up one of the many hills that rise above the city, the old stone spires and ornate rooftops stood proudly against the grey skies, giving the city an air of Victorian importance. It was all rather grand, really.
