It really wasn’t as quiet on the Esplanade as it looks. In fact, it’s Tradies Day where everyone who works in a Trade knocks off early and enjoys a festive beverage. The fact that it’s been raining heavily all day means that no-one is that keen to spend much time outside. I can assure you though, the local bars are doing a fairly brisk trade.
