A Voice No One Heard

A Bard’s Tune

I wander where the road splits from the ruin of time,
Disappearing,
To somewhere unknown,
To somewhere distant,
Directionless,
Where the birds rise at dawn on the misty, muddy road.

My voice shall be found; where the wind does blow,
Where the ocean does roll,
Where the sand does sink,
Where the mud does bind,
Where colours fall from the sky and the rustling birds fly.
